Booking and payment

Choose your motorcycle, rental dates, pickup location and any extras before checkout. Rental periods are calculated in started 24-hour days. Rates are offered for 1, 3 and 5 days. For a rental longer than 5 days, the total is the 5-day package price plus 70% of the motorcycle’s 1-day rate for each additional day. This planned extension rate is separate from the full daily rate charged for late returns. The 1, 3 and 5-day rates and all online charges are shown in your booking quote, and online payments are charged in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

Unpaid booking requests do not reserve dates. Availability is checked again before checkout and payment confirmation. After a successful rental booking, the full calendar day after the return date is reserved for maintenance; the next rental may start on the day after maintenance. For example, a rental ending on 30 October has maintenance on 31 October and can next be booked from 1 November, Malaysia time. Your rental is confirmed when successful payment has been verified and the reservation is marked Confirmed. A payment requiring availability review will be shown for admin review.

Rider requirements and deposit

• BMW and Ducati are labelled Operator Set and require a minimum rider age of 35 years. All other motorcycles require a minimum age of 21 years.
• A valid motorcycle licence appropriate for the selected motorcycle is required. Bring your licence when collecting the motorcycle.
• A security deposit equal to two times the selected motorcycle’s 1-day rental rate is collected separately when you pick up the motorcycle. It is not included in your online rental payment.

Before paying, contact BRAAAP to confirm insurance, mileage allowance, licence acceptance for overseas riders and any motorcycle-specific requirements.

Extras, overtime and service charges

Optional extras currently cost RM50 per item per rental, multiplied by the selected quantity. The checkout quote itemises your selected extras and service charges.

Late returns are charged per day only, at the motorcycle’s 1-day rental rate for each additional 24-hour period or part thereof. Even one hour late costs one full day; more than 24 hours late costs two days. There is no grace period. The rate is saved with each new booking, and the charge is separate from the original rental payment. Existing reservations retain their recorded policy.

Pickup is available daily, 10:00–22:00 Malaysia time (UTC+8). There is no pickup-time service charge from 10:00 until before 18:00. Pickup from 18:00 to 22:00 carries a RM200 evening service charge per booking. This is separate from any pickup-location charge, including KL Sentral. Return office hours remain Monday to Sunday, 08:00–12:00; after-hours return service, where offered, costs RM50.

KL Sentral pickup carries a RM200 service charge once per booking. Read the Shipping Policy for pickup locations.

Changes, returns and cancellations

Contact BRAAAP before changing your rental dates or pickup arrangements. Changes depend on availability and must be confirmed by BRAAAP.

Cancellation requests at least 14 calendar days before the pickup date are eligible for a refund. Submitting a cancellation request does not immediately cancel a confirmed rental. Read the Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy and contact BRAAAP for the decision on your booking.

Consumer rights

These procedures do not limit consumer rights that apply under Malaysian law. Consumer Protection Act 1999 (KPDN).
